![]() If you choose MV, that's a dark and untrodden road, and I can't guarantee that all of LISA's script-based mechanics from VX Ace will have an equivalent plugin on MV. My ranking on how funny the Lisa community is (Answer down in comments) but the sprites are just marks) 81. Beneath the charming and funny exterior is a world full of disgust and moral destruction. In that case, more experienced developers (myself included, not to brag but I'm quite savvy in the VX Ace) can provide you help and advice. THE PAINFUL RPG Lisa is a quirky side-scrolling RPG set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. If you're not experienced with either programs, I would recommend going the familiar road and sticking with VX Ace. Pros: You have a lot more possibilities with the new engine, and all the scripts and plugins that people've made.Ĭons: You won't have LISA as base to build on top of, and you will have to rebuild the whole thing by yourself, and upscale/restyle almost all the assets. (the latter script is what makes the battle HUD with your party member sprites sitting down there with HP bars, and what allows enemies to display attack animations) The latter is, to my knowledge, converted to MV, as most big scripters like Yanfly and Tsukihime left Ace behind and are working on MV. LISA is made using a multitude of publicly available scripts, most notably Core Engine and Battle Engine by Yanfly.
